Disco Fever Wedding
September 12, 1991 made for a unique wedding day for John Travolta and Kelly Preston. Having held their "actual" wedding a week earlier, on September 5th, they were required to hold the second wedding after finding that their first wedding was invalid, having been officiated by a French Scientologist minister at the Hotel de Crillon in France.
Pictures of the events are near non-existent, but the two photos below appear to have been their French celebration.
Like the look? The bride's dress looks to be a heavily beaded or sequined strapless sheath cut gown with a sweetheart neckline. She included matching sleeve-type gloves, and a very full veil behind a flower crown. When veil shopping for a veil like this look for a two or three tiered veil that's 108" wide, with the longest tier at cathedral length. Don't forget her white stockings and white satin pumps!
Travolta was a bit more traditional, in a black tuxedo (likely a one button) with a satin lapel and black bow tie.
